I have an update regarding my prostatitis and epididymitis conditions.
I recently went through a full round of testing of the prostate fluid and semen samples.
Good news!
The prostate fluid culture showed no growth of any bacteria. The WBC count is normal.
The semen culture showed a small growth of staphylococcus epidermidis (less than 10^3 colony count), which is not considered a pathogen in such small quantity and is part of normal flora. The WBC count is normal in the semen.
After 2 years of having fought against prostatitis and epididymitis, it feels good to see these results! 🙂
I would love to hear success stories from you guys as well, please share them in the comments section below.
Thank you 🙂
Hi Jasvir here.. recently diagnosed with chronic prostatitis and started antibiotics as prescribed from my urologist.
He prescribed me Doxycycline and other medications for 2 months continued.
After taking doxycycline for 15 days I’ve feel buzzer sound in right ear and I’ve been to ENT specialist for what’s happening with my ear. He diagnosed my both ears and told me that is tinnitus problem coz of antibiotics.
But it’s just started so I’ve to stop all antibiotics along with doxycycline.
So guys it’s strong recommendation that never take doxycycline it may cause tinnitus or lose of hearing permanently.
Strongly agree with Pranav that antibiotics don’t work but can give you side effects.
I have being suffering from chronic Nonbactirial prostatitis for over 13 years.I am 92 years old.I get up during the night more than 5 times. Can anybody help me Please?Thanking you ,
Francesco.
Sorry to hear about your suffering Francesco. You could look at some natural herbs and anti-inflammatory foods like turmeric to help reduce the inflammation of your prostate and reduce the intensity of your symptoms.
Thank you for this site! Question: what treatment ultimately helped you achieve those results?
Hi Maxim,
The treatment that helped to clear up my infection is phage therapy. You can read more about it here: https://myprostatitiscure.com/2018/02/01/phage-therapy-prostatitis-treatment/
Hi,
So are you with no symptoms now? After the treatment and therapy are you without symptoms? Did they return?
Kind regards
K
Hi K,
I have been symptom-free now for the last 3 years. During this time, I have undergone testing 5 times. The results show no growth of pathogenic bacteria in my samples, and the WBC counts in the samples to be in the normal range.

Hey Pranav,
How long did you have to go on therapy with phages?
Hi Alekos,
I took 3 rounds of treatment with phages. Thats a total of almost 9 months of treatment, spread over the 3 rounds. Are you looking at phage therapy to deal with prostatitis?
